Frequently Asked
Before you order
The three models look quite different in proportion — which is the „classic“ cone shape described?
Model B (D14″ × H16″) is the tall, narrow cone that most closely matches the classic silhouette in the description. Model A (D11.8″ × H7.9″) and Model C (D20″ × H9.3″) are both wider and shallower, reading more like a flattened cone or shallow bowl. All three share the same basic cone-shaped construction, just stretched or compressed to different proportions.
The description says „milky white glass,“ but there’s also a Clear option — what’s the difference?
White is the milky, opaque glass the description centers on — it fully diffuses the bulb so you see soft, even glowing glass rather than the bulb itself. Clear lets more of the bulb’s shape and filament show through, for a slightly more exposed, vintage-bulb look. Both share the same cone silhouette; the choice is about how much of the light source you want visible.
What’s the difference between the Brass and Black body?
Brass leans warmer and more traditional, pairing naturally with the White glass for a classic look. Black is more graphic and contemporary, working well with either shade color if you want a more modern, minimal read on the same cone silhouette.
What bulb works best for the Tresor?
A standard E12 or E14 base bulb, sold separately, rated up to 15W. A warm-white bulb suits the White milky glass, while a vintage filament bulb pairs especially well with the Clear option.
