Good to know

At max 5W, the Devora is built for a soft, ambient glow — not a bright task or general room light. Its brass will also continue to deepen and soften in tone with age, developing character rather than staying static. Wipe the brass frame and glass diffuser with a dry, soft cloth only, avoiding ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners, which can strip the developing patina unevenly.

Frequently Asked

Before you order

What does „develops a refined patina over time“ actually mean — will it look different in a year?

Yes, gradually. The brass will naturally deepen and soften in tone with age and handling, moving away from its brighter, newer look toward a richer, more antiqued character. This is a normal property of solid brass rather than a defect, and it’s part of why the finish is described as „refined“ — many people find the aged look more appealing than the original.

At max 5W, will this actually light a room?

Not on its own — the Devora is built for a soft, ambient wash rather than functional room lighting. It suits accent placement in an entryway or bedroom where you want warm architectural interest on the wall, not a primary light source; pair it with other fixtures if you need brighter, functional illumination in the same room.

The two sizes share the same width and depth — what’s actually different?

Only the height, since the second light stacks vertically above the first rather than the fixture growing wider. The 1-Light Single (H11″) suits a compact accent spot, while the 2-Light Double (H17.3″) reads as a taller vertical statement — footprint on the wall stays the same either way, so choose based on how much vertical presence you want.

How many bulbs does each size need?

One G9 bulb for the Single, two for the Double, sold separately, rated up to 5W each. A warm-white LED suits the fixture’s soft, ambient glass diffuser best.
