What makes the ceramic special?
The ceramic elements are finished by hand, which gives them a softer, more natural surface than mass-produced shades. Small variations from piece to piece are part of their character. Set against the antique brass frame, the white ceramic gives the fixture its quiet, crafted look.
What kind of light does it give?
Warm, ambient light rather than a harsh downlight, so the room feels calm and inviting. Warm-white bulbs (around 2700K) bring out the brass and keep the ceramic looking soft, which suits entries, dining spaces, and bedrooms in the evening.
Where does it work best?
At ∅ 8.7″ × H 8.7″, the Rochelle is compact. It is well suited to entryways, hallways, bedrooms, and dining spaces, where it adds a refined accent without overwhelming the ceiling. For a larger room or a long hallway, install two or more in a row.
What bulb does it take?
A standard E26 or E27 base bulb, 40 W maximum, sold separately. Choose a warm-white LED for the most flattering glow. Whether it dims depends on the bulb, so pair a dimmable bulb with a compatible dimmer if you’d like that control.
How is the Rochelle installed?
Hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
- Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
- Mount the bracket. Secure the included mounting bracket to the junction box.
- Connect & seat the fixture. Match line to line, neutral to neutral, and ground, then fix the fixture to the bracket.
- Fit the bulb. Add your E26 / E27 bulb (≤ 40 W) and restore power.
Will it work in my country?
The fixture accepts universal AC 110 – 240 V and is compatible with North America, Europe, Australia, and Saudi Arabia certification.
