This fixture is IP54 wet-rated for exterior use — it’s built to withstand dust and splashing water from any direction, suitable for covered patios, porches, and other exposed outdoor locations. It’s not rated for full submersion or direct high-pressure water jets. The LED light source is built-in and integrated, so there’s no separate bulb to replace.

Frequently Asked
Before you order
How is the Platet installed?
- Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the junction box is rated for outdoor/wet-location use.
- Mount the gooseneck arm. Secure the stainless steel base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
- Position the cone shade. Aim the aluminum shade toward your entryway, patio seating, or garage door area for directed downlight.
- Restore power. Switch the circuit back on — the LED is built-in, so there’s no bulb to install.
What does the IP54 wet rating actually mean?
Since the LED is built-in, can it be replaced if it burns out?
Do the arm and shade need to match?
