Beschreibung
White goes with everything — but not all white is the same. The Christie’s bone china shade has a quality that flat plastic and pressed metal don’t: the light passes through it rather than bouncing off, casting a soft, warm glow that changes slightly depending on the bulb and the time of day. The wave-form surface catches that light at different angles, so even when the lamp is off, there’s something worth looking at on the ceiling. Hang one over the dining table for a room that feels finished. Hang two over a kitchen island and the whole space reads like it was thought through.
Bone china — light that comes through, not off
The material diffuses rather than reflects. The result is a soft, even glow with no harsh center — warm enough to flatter the room, steady enough to actually light it.
Wave-form surface — texture that earns its place
The raised pattern catches light at different angles throughout the day. Lit or unlit, the shade has something to say — quietly, without competing with the room around it.
Dimmer compatible — one lamp, every mood
Full brightness for meals and tasks. Turned low for evenings. The Christie adjusts; no second pendant needed for a different atmosphere.
Adjustable height — hangs exactly where it should
150 cm cord, fully adjustable. Over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or lower beside a bed — the Christie sits at the right height for the space.
Dining Table
Hung low over the table, the Christie makes a meal feel like an occasion. The diffused light flatters faces and food equally — no overhead glare, no shadows.
Single or pair
Kitchen Island
Two Christies spaced evenly above an island give balanced task lighting without the clinical feel of recessed cans. The bone china warms the tone of the whole kitchen.
Best in pairs
Bedside
Replace bulky table lamps with a Christie on each side of the bed. Adjustable height, dimmer compatible, and a shade that glows warmly at low light — everything a bedside lamp should be.
Pair for symmetry
Over a dining table, flanking a bed, or spaced above an island — a matched pair of the same pendant creates the kind of symmetry that makes a room look styled rather than assembled. Same shade, same height, same warm glow. Simple and effective.
