Inspiration
This lamp started from a walk through the classical sculpture hall of a city museum, past row after row of white marble busts with calm, serious faces, and one bored kid at the end of the tour blowing a big pink bubble with his gum. For a second it looked like one of the statues had done it. We kept that moment: a matte white classical bust, and a round pink glass bubble at its lips that lights up.

Is the bust stone or plaster?
Neither. The bust is resin with a matte white finish, so it has the look of a classical statue but is much lighter than stone and less likely to chip if knocked.
Where does it fit?
At 25cm/9.8″ wide and 42cm/16.5″ tall, it fits on a nightstand, a dresser, a bookshelf or a desk. It works as an accent light or a conversation piece more than as a main reading lamp.
Does the bubble get hot?
The included bulb is a small G9 in warm 3000K light. For the coolest glass, keep using a G9 LED bulb when you replace it, and let the lamp cool before touching the bubble.
How do I turn it on?
It plugs into a wall outlet and turns on with the push-button switch on the 150cm/59″ cord. No wiring or electrician is needed.
