How does the layered shade prevent glare?
The domed glass shade and the stacked tiers beneath it wrap around the bulb, so you don’t look straight into it from the side. The light is sent downward, right where you need it, as a warm, even glow with zero harsh glare — comfortable over a table, an island or a reading chair.
Green or orange — which should I choose?
Both pair the colored glass with a chrome fitting. Green feels calm and natural, and sits beautifully with wood, white walls and plants. Orange is warmer and more playful, a bold retro accent in a neutral room. Either one adds the pop of color the Groene is made for.
Where does it work best?
At ∅ 11.8″ × H 13.4″, the Groene is a compact pendant. Hang one over a small dining table or breakfast nook, beside a bed, in an entryway or reading corner — or line up two or three over a kitchen island for a rhythm of color.
Can the hanging height be adjusted?
Yes. It comes with a standard 59″ hanging wire, and custom lengths are available for higher or sloped ceilings, or to set the shade at just the right height over a table or island. Send us your ceiling height before ordering and we’ll confirm the length.
What bulb does it take?
A standard medium-base E26 or E27 bulb, 60 W maximum, sold separately. A warm-white LED (around 2700K) makes the colored glass glow richly and keeps the shade cool. For dimming, choose a dimmable bulb with a compatible dimmer.
How is it installed, and will it work in my country?
It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box by a qualified electrician, accepts universal AC 110 – 240 V, and is compatible with North America, Europe, Australia, and Saudi Arabia certification. Installation in four steps:
Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
Mount the canopy plate. Fix the included bracket to the junction box.
Set the height & connect. Adjust the wire to your chosen drop, connect line, neutral and ground, then secure the canopy.
Fit the bulb. Add an E26 / E27 bulb (≤ 60 W) and restore power.
