The hemp rope shade is a natural material — dust lightly with a dry, soft brush and keep it away from direct moisture, since the rope can absorb water and hold odor. Wipe the brass base with a dry cloth only, avoiding ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners.

How is the Lauz installed?
- Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the wall box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
- Mount the base. Secure the brass base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
- Fit the hemp rope shade. Attach the wrapped shade to the base.
- Fit the bulb & restore power. Thread in your E26/E27 bulb (max 60W) and switch the circuit back on.
